Hi Tony,
i will have a set, throw them in with the other bits. ;) thanks, :top: |
are these really good quality and are they good for a road car which occasionaly goes on track wot do i need as all of mine need replacing
cheers james, sorry i dont no to much about these |
Are you suffering from any tyre wear on the edges James ?
They will help to reduce that, and also if you are into track settings you can set up the camber to what you want if the car is lowered (or sagging on old springs) etc. If you are not suffering from tyre wear you could set them to the standard length for road use, and as they are fully adjustable on the car on your track day it is simple procedure to wind on a little camber for the day, then wind it off again at the end of the day before you go home. You then have the best of both worlds :top: Numbers sold against a zero comeback rate so far means people must be happy with the quality and price :top: There are two types available, the pinch bolt type (pictured above) where the TCA is held into the hub by a pinch bolt, or the nut and bolt type, where the TCA is held in by a nut on top. Just check which type you have as we make both :) |
thanks for the reply was told that my stanard ones are knackered when MAD boys took the engine out. which is stronger pinch bolt or other. i dont suffer outside tyre wear but want to make the old girl turn in sharper i am also running leda coilovers
thanks again james ps are you at ford fair at all ? |
Its not a case of which is stronger James, it depends on which hubs you have on the car as only 1 type will fit.
Not going to make FF this year sorry :( |

|
Tony, can you replace the lower ball joint rubbers, i pinched one of mine when i stripped the car down
also im heading back up monday for 10 days, cash in hand for the other goodies aswell, if thats still ok? |
You can buy them on Ebay for about £6 for 10 Kelv.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-Larger-Trac...QQcmdZViewItem That should give you a fair go at swapping it and getting it right, or there is a bloke on here selling the same ones in the for sale forum for about £6 for 2 IIRC Wednesday at the Peskyrat Manor would be fine if you can make that as I dont want to take your discs out of the de humidified room until the last minute as they start to oxidise. Thats not a problem as it cleans off but it just looks unsightly :top: |
