well im thinking of fitting the above compleat with gearbox,ecu and loom.from a puma
what snags have people come accross and will the key work with the transponder from the fez or will i need to swap it from the puma? woll i need puma drive shafts. do the exsorst fit the same?? and after al the hassel is it worth it? all so have a wee t25 on a shelf can you give them a little boost in standard form or is it a no no.
any advice will be welcom
mods if this is in the wrong section please move it. sorry should it be in the fezworth section.

very easy conversion to do, you will need to swap the chips over in the keys for it to run, pretty much everything is the same as regards to the drive shafts and exhausts etc.

as for boost, you can run a small amount on standard internals, not much more than around 8psi though should see about 170bhp id imagine, would need a piggy back ECU as a minimum to run it properly though.

I am doing the same thing. I have a 98 Focus Estate with 210'000 miles on the clock.
I have a ST170 Gearbox sitting in the garage and Have been given a low milage 1.7 Puma engine. My thoughts are marring up the 6 speed box with the Puma lump and fitting it into my Estate..
What are the pitfalls?
What do I do about the VVT cam?
What else have i got to change.
The Brakes are already uprated along with the suspension.
Give me your Ideas,,,
