Janspeed turbo kit for Crossflow Complete and Genuine
From my mk1 XR2 but will fit any 1300 or 1600 crossflow
Listen asking price is a starting point, i am not out too wring every penny out of this sale, would rather it go to someone who knew what they were gettng and had enthuisasim for it. but on the flip side im not giving it away either
Janspeed turbo conversion, running 6.5 PSi boost. Includes manifold, turbo, wastgage, inlet manifold correct and very rare positive pressure carb done by Weber not a diy job
jetted etc for 1600cc engine, janspeed plenium, all oil lines, all fuel lines, facet fuel pump, all literature, unused janspeed serial plate.
dizzy coil and microdynamics turbo ignition control, although if I were to fit this kit again I would go for trigger wheels megajolt kit for hassle free set up
increased power at the wheels from 55bhp to 85bhp on an other wise standard XR2 (rolling road from 1982) on standard compression
Was used by a college for development work on a testbed engine (literature confirms) and hardly used from about 1985 to 2003. Fitted to my xr2 at around 2001 by previous owner (still have his contact details) and done about 2-3k.
oil lines plug straight into a front wheel drive cross flow, should be quite similar for a rwd
This is a bolt on kit no need for engine removal
£750 Posted (read above), or pick up from Ayrshire
see on this pic correspondance from the college where the previous owner of my xr2 bought that kit and fitted it
picture missing the facet fuel pump and a bit of the loom that i need to fetch from the fiesta farm where my car is at the moment shortly.
and one of it all fitted

PassionFord Post Whore!!
i was offered one of these about 10 years ago for similar money, must be very rare these days! with some period hoses instead of the silicone on a mint mk1 xr, that would be very very cool!
good luck with the sale mate, id say to the right buyer, thats a fair price. not like you can pick them up on ebay every week is it!
