Default focus 2.0 engine connector.

Hello everyone, I have focus blacktop 2.0 engine (thats going in a mgbgt) and i need help identifying the connector that plugs to the car, a pinout would be useful, i havent got a loom apart from the engine section, so i intend to make my own, using a Deep ecu. I appreciate any help with this, Many thanks, Mark.

My recommendation to you, is use the black top ecu.

It's easier to get the matching sensors and the ecu has better obd2 diagnostics so you can see what the engine is doing.

The deep/desk/dewy 2.0 ecu is a 60 pin eec-iv ecu and the focus a 60. Pin eec-v so the loom could be remade to work either.

The engine loom connectors are differant along with some of the sensor plugs. The sensors will need changing for the silvertop ecu anyway.
The pre pats Mondeo loom had three small multi plugs and the focus one big squar 42 pin multiplug from memory.

Should be the same as the desk . One had a few extras like cruse control and the fuel computer. I can't remember which one.

Most of the sensors have differant plugs. Some can be reused by changing the plugs other sensors need changing to match the ecu

Rule of thumb.

Use blacktop sensors on a Blacktop ecu and Silvertop sensors on a silvertop ecu.
