Default St 170 clutch differences

Hi guys, Im new here and I am also Returning to ford after a few years with another shed/toy.

I require a new clutch for an ST 170 (its the one after 7/03), as its slipping badly now, but im slightly confused with the two different versions of clutch/flywheel sizes.

Will the older type clutch disk physically not work with the newer 240mm flywheel etc?? cheers

If anyone is selling any bits for an mtx75 conversion....or an aftermarket smf then holla at me.

Thanks for reading

if you have a 230mm DMF you need the 230 clutch kit and vice versa with the 240, I was also told I needed to replace the DMF at the same time, so instead I went to TTV and got a lightened SMF and clutch kit, for slightly less than a DMF and clutch would of cost,

Will see what ttv offer me price wise for the kit but I still really want to do the mtx75 converison.
