Default Headlight issue 2009 ST

A couple of weeks ago I noticed lighting of the road ahead of me in the dark was really bad. I thought maybe they had moved I but cannot find any info apart from references to an adjustment screw behind the lap units.

Any ideas how this could have happened?

Also, I thought the lights were self adjusting but noticed I cannot see them moving up/down when switched on.

I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks

Does it have xenons? Has it been lowered at all? When I lowered my old ST, there's a levelling sensor on the front os shock, I fitted it back on upside down. Caused the lights to point really low.

Either one of the levelling sensors will of flipped over the wrong way.
Usually the one located on the drivers side wishbone.

Its a common issue when they've been lifting in the air on a ramp

I suspect they are Xenons, aren't all ST's? I did notice it the Monday morning after the Ford Dealer had my Car. Another email to them!

Is this something I can do or does it require a trip to a Dealer?

No, not all ST's had xenons but that was the pre-facelift. Only ST2 & ST3 had xenons then there wasnt an ST1 on the facelift. If its got the washer jets, then its xenons.

Gotcha..

I Decided to send a short but frustrated email to the Ford dealership who promptly contacted me. After apologising and being frank that although it's not something they would check after replacing driveshafts....+ they carried out a service afterwards, was not good enough. They're collecting my Car this evening and will remedy it at their expense (unless they find something unrelated which I highly suspect they will not).
