Question Focus st170 18" wheels tire size question

Hi ive got a 2003 st170 with 18" wheels fitted to it but ive got problems with the front wheels hitting the arch sometimes the suspension looks factory / standard so i dont think its lowerd whats the best size tire to use with 18" on a focus st170 ?

i may put a post on swapshop as id like a set of standard st170 wheels really the wheels are 18" BK333 Black they do look nice on the silver car but the catching is really annoying me so thought id put a post up and check the tire size out first

You need 215/35/18 tyres.

All depends on the offset of the wheel as well. The FRS runs 225/40 18 tyres as standard.

well bit of an update the problem should be sorted tomorrow ive just bought a set of 17" wheels tsw freeze 205/40/17 so i can sell the 18" bk333 that are on it hopefully no more rubbing then im going to replace my plastic inner arches as mine are quite worn now after 18s being on it with 225/40/18 tyres i decided not to risk new smaller tyres on the 18's incase it still rubbed the 17's was at good money with 1000 mile old tyres and ive also got a pair of brand new toyo proxies in the garage to fit 17" for spares

so hopefully tomorrow no more rubbing
