Default MK1 Focus RS Standard Boost Gauge? HELP!

I have purchased some rs clocks for my mk1 focus, I'll be fitting a zetec turbo engine and would like the boost gauge on the clocks to work, does anyone know how I would go about this? Thanks, dean.

Anyone? I'm assuming I'd need the standard focus rs boost solinoid that attaches to the turbo and actuator but I've read that this solinoid isn't that good and most people remove it but is there a way of either removing it or upgrading it so the boost gauge still works if this is what controls the gauge that it, thanks.

I see, if I do get an after market one is there a way of doing this still with the rs one working, even though it's not too accurate, I hate the idea of of something not working and just being wasted space

And can you recommend a good one?

I have know idea how you could wire it in unless you have the wiring harness and can splice it to get a reading from some where

Youll have to bare with me mate this is a little new to me, what canister would that be? So that gauge doesn't run with wires but with pipes? Im now thinking that it is the standard boost solenoid is what makes the standard gauge work, thanks for your help mate,

You pull the pipe off to the right of the canister and fit the tee that comes with the boost gauge and the pipe from the gauge then connects to the tee giving you a working gauge
