Looking at purchasing a MK1 FRS

To start with this is my first post on passionford and hopefully the first of many. I currently drive a fiesta zetec s but after 3 years i finally now want to move onto the mk1 focus rs due to it being my dream car to own. I have been looking for a while now but tbh there isn't many going up at the moment to my liking. Im looking for a mint FRS up to about £9000 but with very few mods, low miles and hopefully jus a cat back and K&n filter. Does anyone have any advise on what to look for. I know the charge cooler pump is a common prob but could someone give some advise on what im getting myself into.
THANKS.

Don't have a lot of advise on mk1 foci, but welcome to the forum. Sure you will find a lovely one with that sort of cash :top:

Just get one, you won't regret it!....

This is always worth a read (I'm sure there's something similar on this site)

Yh deffo going to get one its just i want to get the right one lol, ive seen some very ropey ones of late. Just quickly whats the difference between the phase 1 and 2 in terms of the ecu. i heard they updated the ecu with the phase 2, does that mean its more powerful.
