if it's like the mondeo ones then you have to strip the seat down and then get to the bolts that hold it in place from behind
not as daunting as it looks as the clips will simply clip out, it's the head rest tubes that are going to be the REAL pain in the arse to remove, don't stretch the material as it won't go back into shape again

i can't remember where i've put the pics when i striped mine down, if i do i'll post them up for you
but i do rememebr i had to remove the seat and put in on the dinning table to get to all the fiddly bits and everything other than the hear rest posts can be removed wihtout too much struggling
have you got the centre armrest as well? because that is only held in with 2 clips

as said, the cover is clipped in on the rear lip of the seat, if you feel where the end of the cloth and the metal join, you can simply insert a small screwdriver into the gap and prise the cloth out
mine has a few screws hidden under the rear felt cover thats glued to the back of the seat back which i had to lift up to unhide them
i've got it somewhere in the garage so i'll get some pics over the weekend if you are still stuck
