Default Mk1 facelift parts on MK1

Is the bumper a straight forward fit and what is involved in fitting the headlights?

you might have a couple of fiddly little problems with the bumper, but it is fairly straight forward(will fit the standard wings). the best headlamps i think are the st170, black background. best to find a mk1.5 scrapper and cut the loom off the connectors as far away as you can and yours as close as you can, then a pretty straight forward job of reconnection.

ffoc have a tutorial on the matter.

Ł80-90 per pair on ebay. i was a bit nervy because i thought they were TOO cheap, but they are fine. you could always wait to get 2nd hand, because these are not genuine and some dont come with bulbs, just a question of how patient you are.

the most obvious difference is the integrated indicators, but it is an easy hook up to the connectors off the mk1.5. all other dimensions are the same. just takes a bit of time and common sense. ebay item No. 300438391674.

yes you would have to, but not too sure where they would go. in the fog light recesses or something!!!!!!!!!!??. one things for sure you dont want to start cutting up your new bumper, counteractive that is.

personally, i would change the lights first (if you couldnt get all the parts at once) and dont forget the grill will need changing if you have one of the old horizontal slatted ones, the mesh grill looks 20 times better.

It will all depend on what pops up first, if it is the bumper ill probably put indicators in the fog lights until I get the lights but I wont be cutting the bumper up.

I never even thought about the grill thanks for that.

At the minute im refurbing the alloys.
