Default 4-2-1 or zetec manifold?(not focus though)

I am putting a zetec(1800 130ps) engine into my xr2. At the moment I have a Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold which mates to the xr2 system perfectly. I have 2 choices:

1. Use zetec xr3i manifold and weld flexipipe to the bottom and connect to my xr2 system.
or
2: Buy an adaptor plate for the zetec head and use my 4-2-1 manifold.
The con with this is the holes don't completely match so not such smooth exhaust flow at head.

Is the 4-2-1 manifold better (even with the adaptor plate) on the zetec than the standard 1800 zetec(130 XR3i) manifold?

why do you want to get rid of the janspeed manifold, if it all works perfectly sounds like you have the best setup

Whoops, perhaps I haven't explained this very well..
My Janspeed is for the cvh (original 1.6)engine. Doesn't fit onto the zetec head. Even the guy who sells the adaptor plate(which changes the manifold holes on the zetec head) says that the exhaust doesnt line up perfectly so I think it may somewhat defeat the gains I get from the janspeed.

I would not bother fitting the Janspeed you have, the Zetec manifold is pants though so maybe try and find an ST170 standard exhaust manifold that is 4-2-1 and mate you existing system to this, will release a bit more power too but no idea if the port size is similar but it will bolt straight on the head.
