Hi guys. I used to own a Honda, Civic. Sold it a while ago and now i'm looking at buying a Focus because the new shape has really grown on me. The '10 ST are in the 18k range and i'm really considering one.
The thing with my honda was that I bought a basic one and ended up spending alot to achieve some power out of it. I don't want to be doing the same again so i'm after something that's gonna be fun both in straight line and corners. I'm expecting mid 13s 1/4 mile so is the ST capable or should i consider an older model so i can allocate more budget towards the modding?

You could always get an 07 ST for about £12k and then mod that. Have seen one or two ST's for around £8k or £9k but with about 80k miles.
You wont regret getting an ST, I love it.

Hi mate, thanks for your reply.
ST is my first choice.. just gettign a few insurance quotes now and getting the go ahead from the Mrs ( gotta keep it sweet with her LOL ).
Spotted this one
I'm not too keen on the color but it seems a reasonable price for the mileage.

Hi mate, standard ST's are quite good, but get a dreamscience handheld tuner second hand for about £300 and it changes it completely, the needle on the boost gauge shoots right off the gauge with that done
