Default frs missing after installing a K&N gen 2 induction kit

Hi Peeps! Has anyone who has fitted a gen 2 K&N induction kit experienced a missfire? I have within a few days of fitting only on high revs?

Could be loose connection on the maf sensor if you didnt have the misfire before you fitted the filter

I used to have the K&N GenII fitted to the car but decided to put the standard airbox back on. Car seems to run much better now and has no misfires, it used to be terrible at high revs

i had a misfire when i fitted mine, the bracket the came with it mounted it a bit crooked and pulled the pipe off the turbo ever so slightly so it was drawing air.

Sounds canny, I had a few problems with mine when I fitted one on my old FRS. My current one won't be getting one, I found the filter made no difference to the performance IMO
