Q. About FRS

Hi all,

New to the forums so hi :DD:

I am looking to get a car soon and was looking at the Focus. Ain't getting anything more than 1.6 as insurance would be raping me hardcore (18). Was only looking at the Focus because I am really takign a shine to the Focus RS now and was wondering if anyone has taken a normal Focus and fitted an RS bodykit to it? Are they rare to come by Focus RS bodykits? Also, whats the cost involved in getting the parts and getting them fitted (rough estimate)?

Thanks :top:

I have seen one RS bodykit on a focus and I thought it looked OK, think it had quite a bit of money spent on it though. I have seen the bodykits on Ebay as well but would not like to say whether the prices are good or not. If your going to put the bodykits on then IMO you need to make sure you pay attention to detail to try and getting it look as close as possible.

I want to get a genuine RS bodykit and no aftermarket ones. Think the RS one is really well suited to the focus and its rims as well just top it off. Also thinking of getting imperial blue respray too

How much are you looking at spending?

I am not sure on an actual kit that will supply everything but I am sure you can buy original bits seperate for the RS, I have seen the front bumper going for around £175 (painted) brand new they are around £500 I believe. You would need to get the wheel arhes widened as well to give it that Rs look.

i am sure there is someone else on here that know a hell of a lot more than me and may even put me in my place
