focus rev counter wire....what colour is it on the multiplug

Default focus rev counter wire....what colour is it on the multiplug

as above. fitting a rev counter with shift light. what colour is the rev counter wire on the multi plug behind the clocks? i dont have a tester on me to check. any help much much appreciated.

Unfortunately the Focus doesn't have a separate rev counter input to the instrument cluster - the Tacho gets the signal through the SCP comms line (as does the Speedo and Temp gauges). What type of signal does your new rev counter use as it looks like it will have to receive it's input from another source, although I'm not sure where.

its just a standard one as you say. i had it on my cossie thouigh. where is the sensor for the revs in the engine bay? it use to work of the ignition coil in the old days...
