Default Removing 12v outlet

anyone know if the plastic bit holding the 12v outlet is removable? if so how?

Would have thought it would just pop out. If not then probably need to remove the console and get at it from below....pretty sure that a gentle lift with a screw driver would do it.

struggling to be honest.


haven't attacked with a metal screw driver yet as I don't want to damage everything.

it will break, if i'd seen this earlier today the one on the works fiesta has bust and i would have taken a snap to show you
might not get that car again till friday now

There's a spring that hold it in on some sort of clip

Not sure when I'll have the car again but when I do I'll take a snap for you
