Default 2.0 tdci 2007 estate induction kit

Hi guys

Could you shed any light on what's best in terms of an induction on these cars please? This is my 1st focus ever owned so would like to do few small changes like everyone does at the start

Which is better in terms of performance, Panel Filter, Induction kit with open cone or an Induction kit with an enclosed inline filter?

Also some pictures of your induction kits would be nice

Generally a panel filter in the original box is best for performance, all an induction kit will do is suck in hot air from the engine bay and make loads of noise.

Thanks for the reply buddy.
I thought as much, I had a Vectra 1.9 CDTI last time and a panel filter performed better than an open cone on them too. With the Vectra though there was an Air box mod you could do which allowed the filter to gain access to more cold air.
