EGR Valve !
Hi,
I am new to using a forum. I am having a nightmare with my 2009 1.8 TDCI focus ! Hope there's someone on here that might have more knowledge than me. My car was going into limp mode with EML light on so took to Ford for diagnosing and after charging me £100 for codes they have made car worse it's now off the road, they now want another £700 for new EGR valve as its part of manifold on model ! Before I spent that I decided to have a fiddle myself so tried cleaning it and also tried blanking plate, engine sounds fine but still goes into limp mode with EML light. Anyone know any tricks like pulling a connector or am I screwed? Seems like a common problem after reading threads 😀
Paul.
