Hullo, I have just bought a Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI estate (2003 model) and have sorted a couple of issues with it already. However one of its problems is the steering has a stiff area somewhere very near the centre position. It seems to affect it only while turning left. After some internet searching, I'm pretty sure its the steering rack.

What's the best place to buy a new or reconditioned steering rack from? For example are there specialist Ford parts suppliers or am I better doing a general search on eBay (for buy it now items)?

euro car parts do them on exchange, could be worth a look. Don't think they are too dear either.
