First of all I want to introduce myself and my build as this is my first post. My name is Jay and I am building a Fiesta MK5 Zetec S, This car is all built by me and a few friends in my garage. (Below is the start of the journey)

I brought this car in February of 2017, This is my 4th of these models and hopefully the last. Anyways my Ford Fiesta MK5 Zetec S started life as a 1.6 SE (101 BHP). Although this engine was great and was one of the best preforming engines I have had out of all the other Fiesta Zetec S I have owned, I wanted more power and something that would stand out from all the others. At this point I was contemplating tuning the 1.6. But after realising there isn't much support for these engines and if you can find any parts they are rather expensive, I then started looking in to a Ford Puma Engine 1.7 (123 BHP). These engines seem to have a decent support for parts and are a decent power upgrade from standard 1.6 due to the VCT, However before setting my heart on the 1.7 I started to look around for something a bit different as I didn't want my fiesta to be over looked for being another puma converted Zetec S. This is when I decided on a 1.8 Zetec E engine from a ford focus estate that had 63,000 miles on the clock.

Since purchasing the 1.8 Zetec E engine I have done a fair bit of work on the car as well as the engine it's self. For the most part I have pretty much my hole journey so far with this build on YouTube. Not only do I show the build progress I have a few tutorials like converting rear drum to disc and how to remove and refit powerflex bushings for the rear beam.
