Good prices, thats a fair bit cheaper than the stuff I bought recently!

Think you've made a bit of a boo boo though, 120x50 is more expensive than 120x60!

Some more info about it...

3M DI-NOC Carbon Fibre Finish is a vinyl film that looks like the real thing but is less expensive and more versatile than carbon fibre.

It is simple to install and easy-to-clean with a modern, visually appealing design making the carbon fibre finish perfect for unique wrapping of interior or exterior car surfaces such as bonnets, boots, roofs, side view mirrors and interior plastic.

It's not a printed carbon pattern. The film has an embossed finish resembling true carbon fibre, which reflects light as expected and changes the highlights of the pattern depending on the viewing angle.

Key Features
  • 3-D graphic contrast, hi-touch embossed finish
  • The ultimate in flexibility and conformability to curved surfaces
  • 3M™ Comply™ adhesive to ensure a bubble-free installation
  • Stretchable with heat
  • Can be cleaned with detergent and water
Advantages
  • Has a look & feel similar or better to carbon fibre bonnet and hard-top
  • Can be applied on interior and exterior surfaces of a car (hoods, trunks, side view mirrors, interior plastic…)
  • Can be applied easily on all the most common car paints
  • Cost-effective

cheers for all that info mate thinking of buying alot of the stuff because mates keep asking for somewhere and there is a market for me to do it..
how much would you need to wrap a bonnet
how easy is it to fit. and how does it stick.
also how does the material fit round corners etc say when doing a bonnet where do you cut it or do you jsut wrap around the sides of it ?

Depends on how big the bonnet is the roll is 1220mm wide, so depending on mesurements you might go wing to wing or front bumper to windscreen.

It's not too bad to fit but it does take practice - it's like tint film but it doesn't crease as easily as tint or tear and if you need to move it you can pull it back off in places and re-apply it. If you stretch it too much you can heat it and it will contract back to a flat sheet.

You clean the panel with prep fluid and it sticks like shit to a blanket. You apply it dry (not using soapy water like normal vinyl). To get shapes in the vinyl, you need a hot air gun or a strong hairdryer. You wrap it over the edges of the panels and trim the underside or tuck it under window rubbers depending on what you are doing.

i have used apaspa film on my mrs focus ST for her wing mirrors and bonet lip its not bad to use and to be fair i think i wrapped pretty much the hardest thing on the car!
i dont think the 3m stuff is quite as flexible but im sure it will be easy to apply to most surfaces.

Dan/Nat, have you found anywhere that you would recommend for fitting this stuff, in ref to larger exterior panels!?

i have no intention of trying it myself, but would like to have it fitted to a panel on the new car.

I have used some of this stuff before. It is amazingly easy to apply. Providing the surface is very clean you can have several attempts at it as its very sticky! Also, and bubbles will just squeedgee out

Only thing I will advise against is self control. As it is so easy to apply it can become very addictive.

What is it like to remove? Does it leave anything sticky or just hard to get off?
