Fuel pump cradle fitting
Afternoon all, I'm in the process of fitting a zetec engine to my mk4 Escort which is (or was) a carb engine therefore no fuel pump. I have a new EFI fuel tank, pump, cradle, etc to fit but I'm having trouble figuring out how to fit the fuel pump cradle without an actual EFI model in front of me to look at.
There are two questions
1) The cradle fits to two holes, one in the spare wheel well and one in the cross beam/frame. I can probably make something to anchor the wheel well hole from the inside. But what part is needed for the cross beam or how do the EDI models have it? As I can access the inside of it I can't figure out how to fix to this point.
2) On my model there appears to be a an exhaust hanger overlapping the hole on the cross beam. I can remove this (I think, it's pretty rusted) but where do the EFI's models have the hanger located if not here?
Any help appreciated!

I didn't realise EFI was internal, thought it was age which changed stuff like that. I probably should have gone that route though as I have bought everything including a brand new fuel tank! Too late for that now. But yes same setup I'm going for as in that picture.
I've just gone under the car and had another look. The hanger bracket I have removed and I think I can gain enough access to drop a bolt down the hole but I doubt I could get a spanner in to tighten it.
It looks like in your picture the exhaust hanger is offset. Do you know if that's just a pin welded on or some kind of bracket and bolted?
This is what it looked like on mine before I removed it.
