Default CVH block variations

Chaps,

looking for some info on the different variants of block that there are/if there are for CVH's (Carb, Mfi, Efi & Turbo). were there any noticeable changes if so?

Going to be building a CVH turbo for my MK3 soon, so trying to scrub up on my knowledge.

CheeRS,
Luke.

Early/later versions with 2 different crank and oil pump setups (not block per se but worth mentioning i guess)

Late (efi) blocks had the CPS hole

Cheers for the reply haz. Knew about the CPS loc on the efi block but wasn’t sure on the pumps, so I’ll have a look into that a bit deeper. Got a few blocks in the workshop from different variants, I just haven’t touched any of it in a while.. try and dig it all out and have a look through them.

I have been looking into this too. Here's some pics for reference of a cvh turbo block.

Early style pump has a small pipe attached to it as you can see in the first picture

Early variation oil pump

The later spec oil pump
