Questions about braided fuel lines + gearbox
Hi all, I'm new to Passionford but heard a lot about this forum.
I have a question about the braided fuel lines, I bought a kit on Ebay earlier this month from Pro-Line Motorsport) but some people say that the braided fuel lines aren't any good for the engine ? Is this correct ? Because the lines costed me like 200£. Also do I have the RS Turbo gearbox apart but the input shaft has worn on the fifth gear, Do you guys know a spot where I can find a new input axle for the BC FWD gearbox ? Thanks in advance and I hope to make some new friends and get some knowledge over here !

i am down in australia and need to replace the red MFI lines on mt s2 rs turbo, can i at least replace just the red plastic sections with some high pressure nylon hose from a local performance shop? i simply cant get new ones? even second hand ones are all around 30 yrs old.
To be on the safe side, use custom made braided hoses. Most non-Fords with K(E)-Jetronic (all VW and Audis) came with braided hoses.
