Vibratechnics engine mounts

Hi. I want to change my engine mount in my series 2, to a vibratechincs one. But I'm not sure which one to get? I can see that there are many different types of vibratechnics engine mounts depending on the production year of the car, mine is a late 86. It sais on the websites that I have searched, that i should check the number on my mount before ordering. Can anyone point me in a direction to which one I need or how to conclude what type of mount fits os mine? There's this one mx82 and another one mx81 which is the only ones statted as for a 86.

Why would you change them, these mount are for track use.
They will transform all vibrations to the car and make it unuseable for road use...

but of couse they will test the weldings and see if they hold LOL

They do slightly cause a little more vibration on Idle but once driving you don't notice anything ..there not just for track use ..i use them on my 300hp road car and work fantastic .

Exactly! I bought the competition gearbox mounts a year ago and have loved them from day one! I like how you can really feel the car and how good the response is! And vibrations are barely noticeable.

At Mat's power you need them, standard ones will tear out in no time.... But yes they do vibrate.
