Question Forged pistons or am In in trouble?

Anyone have an idea what type of pistons these are? I purchased these years ago from eBay and where advertised as an accralite forged pistons. Diameter is 81.5mm (1658cc) However I've never found accralites with that type of Crown. You can tell my the first and forth piston the centre has a higher ring than the rest of the piston.

The car is running omex management and 28psi,
Are these pistons up to it or am I gonna need an engine soon?

I can tell you straight away these aint standard. Going by the circle lift in the middle of the pistons gives this away.

I've looked at every accralite design piston for the cvh, and found nothing with a raised centre. You think are low compression forged pistons?

The rs pistons are flat as standard. Unless someone has changed the pistons to another cast piston... that would be pointless of course. i will have a quick look for you

No lag at all. Pic might not be tdc. Just picking my brain if they are infact accralites low compression pistons. Car is working 2 bar and really hasn't been driven as it has been off the road for 12 years!

Had a look at the pistons you mentioned. Very similar, but my pistons centre that are raised are bang in the middle of the piston. The pistons on the picture look to have the raised bit towards the edge of the piston. What you think?

No problem pal. And I'm unsure, you would have to ask one of these lads. I'm still on with restoring the RS at the min so mine haven't seen much hammer yet. I would think the conrods would be the weak point over the forge pistons, unless your using steel H section rods that is. These lads on here will be lot more clued up than me
