Default Slam panel/ Bonnet cable heat shield

What have people bought/ made?
Orion goes in for a new manifold soon, and I wanna protect my new bonnet cable from melting this time
Clearance won't be a issue this time as going custom, but still want to look into slam panel heat shields, which will still give me bar access to pop the bonnet from underneath if the mechanism ever fails again...

I melted outer casing of bonnet cable and the white locating lug last year...
So with the new manifold it's belts & braces for me now
Bonnet kept moving onto safety catch too so I've renewed everything

I bought some sleeving to protect the wiring within electric ovens. I've used this on my crank sensor wiring, no reason why it wouldn't protect a bonnet cable.

Any links?
I had some of the silver heat protective wrap over it...
New bonnet cable will be in this afternoon
I might wrap it in tin foil and put the heat protective wrap back over it and try again
It's been fine on idle with the fans kicking in and out
Just killed it off yesterday within 20 miles of abuse

I had a look on ebay last night for you but I had had a few San Miguels. Search heat proof sleeving.

Ordered cheers
Think I'll use some tin foil round it too, hopefully it sorts it...
If it doesn't I'll have to make something up maybe with some threaded bar on the release mech, and keep the cable over to the o/s away from the manifold

It's doing my head in now... just want it sorting

I'm having a custom manifold done and my engine is further forwards than yours so I may have to do something similar. I am thinking of having the new manifold ceramic coated to help reduce temps.

I was offered a deal through a mate on having this coated, but the manifold cost enough... wrapping it makes a big difference to the temps given off
But it's just close to the cable... at least with this manifold there's a gap unlike the other Focus Jek manifold
Have also thought about spacing the gearbox cradle to drop that side of the engine...
I'm not as patient with cars as I used to be...
