Default Rs turbo cam kit

Hello everyone!

My engine have started to Sound very tappy..
So i guess it's time for a new cam and lifters.. At the moment it's just the standard cam, but i would like a increase in power

My specs at the moment:
-31 actuator
- mongoose exhaust
- airtec frontmounted intercooler
Other than that, it's a Stock engine, The plan is to get a stage 2 turbo, chip, 1 bar of pressure.. AND a cam kit, but which one????

I have read tons of threads, and everyone is saying something different, so i'm also asking.. What cam kit????

Cheers!

cam "kits" are shit! Why any cam supplier sends them out with cheap copy parts in is beyond me???
Buy a cam, buy solid liftfers and any seals or bits you need seperatly and get what you ask for. Not some random thrown together box of crap.

I'm with Jano on this. I put a kent 35 in mine years ago, used their lifters and one decided to blow it self to bits. It cost me the cam, a valve, all new oil and a new sump gasket and head gasket set. When i got the new cam i bought genuine ford lifters and they lasted until i took the car off the road to drop the zetec in which meant around three years daily use and about 30k miles with out any trouble at all. Don't use any hydraulic lifters except genuine ford!!

Ha cvh34 cam is pretty much a std cam set to full lift. So save your self 150 quid and dial your cam in proper.
That cam was designed for idiots who can't time an engine right. Basically moves the woodruff key position to full lift on a std profile. Full proof way of making more power for a home tuner.

Buy a proper cam.

Too many variables to be able to answer that directly. Would need to know so many factors.
Head flow
Turbo
CR
Deck height
Engine
Management
Required boost or power
Blah blah...
