Mfi to efi running issues

Hi I'm new on here and need some help. I converted my mfi over to efi and can get it to start and idle ok but if I try to rev it it just sounds like it's dying!! If I really slowly try to rev it does but sounds like it's revving twice as much as it should. I have changed leads. Plugs. Cps. Map sensor. Checked all connections on sensors and Ecu etc. It's running ofab setup and just folded back old loom. Also the Rev counter isn't working I have changed it to pin 11 on the edis and still no joy any ideas??? Also what fuel pressure should I be running it at??

Does it smell rich? You should be at circa 3 bar fuel pressure with engine off and fuel pump running.

It sounds like you might be lean given that slowly applying throttle is better. Does it idle well? or barely.

Rob,

Rob,

Hi yes it does idle ok which is why I found the revving issue strange. I have just put fuel pressure gauge on and it's running 3 bar with engine off. It does smell quite rich but the mfi I had in it originally was the same. And I have looked at the new plugs I put in the other day and they are quite black??
