Any CVH exhaust manifold pics (pref over gbox)
Looking for a few examples of over the gearbox manifolds on a CVH turbo. Also, who to use to fabricate one, understand crazycage is off the scene temporarily, anyone else to look at?

I have just listed a simspon racing one on ebay if your looking for one probably the best available for the CVH. Item number is 151607134183 have a gander and I will end the listing for a reasonable offer on it.

Just the job I'd say. PM me what your wanting for it pal. What's it made from (other than metal  )
|
Have sent you a pm.
Its made from stainless steel mate theres also a few pics of it attached to a cvh head on my photobucket here http://s1096.photobucket.com/user/rs...l?sort=2&o=189 For you to get an idea of what it will look like fitted |
When ported standard manifold can do 500 bhp. Has a very efficient collector for a cast manifold. That collector and main pipe looks tiny hope thats just an illusion
|
In all honesty I'm not looking from a performance point of view, as long as its not detrimental. I want it for practicality (more room for IC and rad) and to make my engine bay look how I have in mind.

The pipes going into the collector are 50mm thick going to 75mm main tube before turbo flange. Don't think that these measurements are tiny to be honest. Its a very well made manifold and is more than up to the job. It certainly moves the turbo away from the rad giving lots of room. It also looks very trick when fitted. |
Hey each to there own

If it was made from monkey metal and pigeon shit welds I'd be inclined to agree but I'm under the opinion an exhaust fabricator knows how to make an exhaust?
|
those pipe sizes are more than large enough.
