Default Yb into a mk4 estate??

Hey folks who can help me here with some info i have a estate with sierra floor and rear axle im wondering whats the best way to do the front end as the inner wings havnt been touched yet and strut tops are still standard can someone tell me if i can keep the escort rollbar and shock and fit 2wd hubs to them so that i can use the sierra steering rack?? And then i could just mount then cosworth cross beam with the mounts for the engine on it to welded in plates on the escort chasis legs?? Any help would be great thanks

I would say no, your way would be a bodge, giving wrong geometry

Best way is too cut everything out and use sierra stuff from bulkhead forward or... Build a space frame front end

Or give it too me too finish for myself lol

the 2wd hubs are alot different to the mk4 hubs, i very much doubt it would work, although i have see rwd conversions with the standard hubs with cv's still in there lol
