Default Mk3-Mk4 roof skins (different or not) ?

.

Does anyone know if a Mk3 roof skin is the same as a Mk4, I'm looking to change my rusty sunroof tray but thinking of doing away with the sunroof and doing a skin change as my car has been converted to RWD using a Sierra floor and i've lost a bit of head room due to the seats sitting a little bit higher in the car, plus the rollcage front roof bar is in the way of the winding handle.

Cheers

Ginger

Yer defo, started to remove the old one yesterday, took 30mins to get the main section cut out, spent the next 5 hours trying to get the gutter rails and the front/rear window parts removed and still not finished :-( should get it all off today though.

Very time consuming

3days is good going mate, it's taken me 4 days so far, but the new skin is on for a trial fit so a few more hours should see it finished.

Yer, on my own mate, just a hand to lift it on and off the car. All welded on now, just a bit of primer to go in from the inside so as to try and get it to run through between the gutter rail spot welds before I get some joint seal in along the gutters.

That's not bad going mate, we just poured some primer in the gutter and gently blew it in with an airline
