what to paint the floor of my rs turbo with
I am making my rs turbo into a trackday car, was going to paint the interior floor with hammerite either brush on or spray on, or is that going to be hardwearing enough or is there a better paint i should be using

hammerite stonechip sprayed from a compressor, then colour paint to match the car. If you dont want to fork out moneyto match the colour white(if colour of the car) gloss paint mixed with thinners sprayed on would do the job. I done this for my chassis, its more of a hard wearing paint as its oil based.
Heres how mine turnt out:

He means the interior, mate. I've just used Halfords rattle cans to do my floor and cage but the paints a bug thin. You need to use a proper compressor and gun, really. Hammerite spray would do the job though, the cans aren't cheap though.

Yeah i know, i used the pic to show in general how mine turned out after spraying using a compressor. He mentioned about brush painting it on, which would look a mess.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
If your not wanting a quality finish and not getting a bodyshop to do it ive seen a few which have rattle canned the inside. From afar looks ok but definetly dont hand brush it!

It can look good. But it'll be cheaper to rent a compressor, air line and spray gun for a day and buy 5L of cellulose paint from Jewel paints of ebay.
God knows how many rattle cans from the range you'll need, you'll properly have to go to halfords and buy some from them, which costs about £2 more than the range who sell Holts paint, a better quality finish than halfords stuff.
