Default Best turbo upgrade??

I'm after a new turbo for my s2 and wondered what would be best type to go for?? I don't want to mess around with the manifold or fuelling too much but would like sum thing bigger and that spools up quicker. Cheers

Nothing special mate just stage 2 chip and various other bits and bobs. Ally inter cooler and stainless boost hoses. Apart from that it's pretty standard. Runs 17 psi happily but feels a bit laggy. Wondered if a rollerbearing turbo would b a good option.

Something cheaper would be better, if turbo is standard a simple stage 1 or 2 T3 hybrid turbo would be good enough. That if theres no more plans for a big power hike later on in life.

Well it's a good clean car and I don't really want to go too mad with it so I'll probably just do that then. Are there any other mods you would recommend to improve performance without goin silly?

T3 Stage 2 hybrid, anything else will be more laggy on a 1600 cvh. A good setup may improve it too!

I'm looking at a tubular manifold as well apparently it's good food 15 horse power and reduces lag so that might b worth a go. Thanks a lot mate. Great help.

if your getting a tubular manifold and after around 200 brake then a roller bearing would be much better than the old t3 something like a gt2560 but costs a lot more
