Default Weird clutch... Stumped

Hiya I was drive my s2 around last night and as I was driving I went to change to 4th and it jumped out of gear, clutch went soft and sounded like a window blind winding up. Coasting for about a min and the clutch was fine and I carried on.... Weird!

I'm thinking the fork just got stuck because I don't 120 miles yesterday and it was fine. Any guess?

Its weird to explaine but it's like the biting point goes down to the floor and as I slow down it is fine and goes back to normal. I looked up and thought it maybe rachet but didn't want to influence the answer. Would it do this then? Mate said it may be release bearing?
