ALTERNATOR HELP please!!!!!!
Right troops changed my alternator today , because my batt light was staying on when ignition was off so therefore killing my draining my batt in process , so cleaned my cables reconnected new alternator and went a drive for about 30 mins came back and damm lights still on checked blue wire connection on alternator and all semms ok , its not falling off or anything , so anyway where does this wire go to from alternator could there be a break in cable ? , fuse ?? any help appreciated guys its doing my head in now or anyway of testing it would be good

Test that its charging the battery, start it up then use a volt meter to see if its charging, if it is then is should show around 13.5 to 14.5 volts and when ignition is off after about 15 mins should drop to about 12 volts
