Default Help needed asap plz!

Hi guys, i have finally put my engine in after a full rebuild, starts lovely with a flick of the key and runs great! but this is besides the point!!

i thought id change the clutch ratchet while i was at it, got the pedal box out and put the ratchet on no problem.... however i forgot how the Pawl went back on and cannot for the life of me seem to get it right!! its really bugging me as thats all that holding me back, i just cant seem to get the right direction of the pawl and spring right, does anyone have any pictures i could use as a referance please??
i will be extreemly greatful!!!

thanks guys

i checked my Haynes PDF and the only section relating to clutch/gears is section 7 which has no mention of clutch pedal, pawl or ratchet removal. and for some reason im missing chapters 6,7,8 in my PDF!! lol

if anyone could supply justy a picture of a pedal box removed with the pawl still attached so i could use it as a referance i would be extreemly greatful!!!

im hoping to get it sorted tomorrow

It's spring loaded, cable runs through the middle of the ratchet and you'll have to put a block of wood under the pedal to hold it up.

Then pull the Black pawl back and pull the cable/ratchet through it, then let go.

When your done remove block and it will all tighen up, then press pedal a couple of times and you'll hear a couple more clicks when it gets tight.

It's fiddly but you'll manage

Ahh sorry, I know what you mean the small Black toothed thing. I remember leaving it on mine as it would'nt budge and I did'nt want to break it

hope you get sorted!
