Default Magnecor 8mm leads

Hi PF

I found some Magnecor 8 mm... £60

Bad? Good?
Should I choose another brand and/or thicker og thinner?

Regards

Thanks for replies!

It's easy to get fooled buying "better" leads I can see.

I'll go for Ford's then, when I need em.

Cheers!

go for the cheapest out of magnecore, ford and ford motorsport is the consensus but don't buy dirt cheap shit leads.

i've got the red magnecores on my focus but they were cheaper than genuine fords.

Wow... Now I'm not to sure anymore

The Blue Magnecor was because my car is blue and that was a small detail too

Actually what I was wondering about, is the 8mm and the brand Magnecor?

Cheers

Motorsport leads are also blue m8 but £20-25 cheaper than the blue magnacor's, magnacor do 8mm blue leads and i think the kv85 are 8.5mm which are red hope this helps m8

Thanks for the link but I would like to buy it here in Denmark, because of shipping, tax and customs
But I'll check out and save the site, thats for sure

Then what about spark plugs.. I've read that the Motorcraft 071 should do it but why are they so much cheaper compared to Denso http://shop.motorsport-developments....stem-167-c.asp

I've read they can handle more... And I'm hoping one day for 200+ so I should go for Denso? NGK? Champion?

Why i wasn't told about these plugs before hand.Mad they these plugs are made by motorcraft. It a trade secret ? lol

Anyway here's what i found.. "Known as the 071C these are tried, tested and proven up to 650bhp by the top cars"

With a little luck they should be enough for my Escort

So far the conclusion for me will be Magnecor 8mm leads and Motorcraft 071c plugs
Unless I find more about the Motorsport leads (and the color )
