fuel pump questions, 1988 s2 rs turbo should the bloody thing be buzzing all the time? does this mean its on its way out?

Anyone know where you can get the rubbers from? The guy in my local ford couldnt find them on the parts list and seemed to think they had been discontinued!!

I paid 127.99 for the Bosch 05802 pump from sorensons road sport in Plymouth it is bnib so 80 notes delivered i think is fair
