im currently building a 2.1 for my van just wanted some opinions of what sort of power i could expect from this engine when its done from people who know a bit more about them,
- 2.1 silvertop block
- standard zetec crank
- acl heavyduty main and big end bearings
- forged h section rods arp bolts
- wossner low comp forged pistons 86mm
- efi head
- port polish, larger valves
- double valve springs
- poss. kent cam
- gt28 turbo
- dark greens
- grs intercooler
- ally rad
- gotech mfi pro management
- cometic gaskets
- uprated fuel pump
- alcon 6 paddle clutch
not sure on gearbox yet.

could i expect to see 300bhp?

Well speeking from experiance you will max the greens out, better fit somthing like 440cc or larger.
Dont need big valve head. But you will need a better cam. I use a Newman with great results with the GT28 and 23psi of boost = 300bhp
Need some extensive flowing of the head.

cheers mate any ideas what injectors specifically you would use? i havent bought injectors yet so im open to anything. i will look into a cam im not actually 100% what cam ive got but i believe it to be a kent one. i think i may have a newman one on an mfi head ive got.

i dont really know what greens would hold up to mate if im honest.
