I think you get rid of the drivers wiper and the kit/ linkage makes the center wiper run the full length of the screen, But not 100% on this. Not something i like as i dont see how it could cover the area of glass i would like,

Is it for road or use on track?

There pretty simple enough to do if you buy the kits, you lose the drivers wiper but ive seen it done on a few cars the other way round.

no,reminds me of boy racers, and uno's!!And I can't see how a wiper conversion would clear the windscreen as well as the standard set up.

had a single on my old S1 and definately stay with 2, swept area was as god with the mods to a kit it had on it but it was the speed that was the issue in anything above a a light drizzle. also had the squirter jets on the wiper arm too as per touring cars. Also if you do go single make sure you a get a blade either without a spoiler or with it for the drivers side

if i remember correct all i did when i did mine was extend the small arm that goes on the motor and remove the drivers side arm, if you do it the correct length it will sweep the full screen, i think to get the full sweep i cut a small section out of the plate the linkage bolts to

Why not look at fitting the wiper assey out of a jag xj6 or xj8? single wiper and goes more than fast enough for 150mph in the rain, an it sits flat.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-DAI...item256a81a250

Looks do able to me, might even sit behind your air box, custom mounts then an appropriate length wiper blade. I think the xj8 even has the washer jets mounted on the wiper arm.

Or even cooler, would be to bodge a mercedes single wiper assey in there

A sad man has posted this vid on youtube, an even sadder one posted it here lol

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7L77RedjSZ8

It would be a real mission to fit, bit the wiper arm extends at the corners to clear most of the screen.
