escort rs turbo smoking
Hello i just took my escort rs turbo for a run it is smoking bad blue smoke all the time cold and warm what would it be.

As above,
If you take it to a garage/tuners they will be able to check the compressions on the cylinders or carry out a cylinder leakage test which will indicate the sealing capacity of the piston rings. It could also be a blocked/faulty breather, turbo seals, valve stem seals.......

if its smoking on over run then I reckon its deffo the turbo seals. If it only smokes on idle for a bit I would say the valve stem oil seals. Definately get a compression test done to eliminate the rings & gasket, then go from there !
