LOLOLOL that old thread made me chuckle, " in bred norfolk hill billy!!" LOL (sorry Christian, im sure you can laugh about it now!???)

Rob,

Rob,
I dont have the money for a new turbo..... yet!
Yes mate by all means if you want to come my way when running in drop me a PM!
The pull in 5th is crazy at like 80mph, might as well be in 3rd!!
Those tables dont make any sense, there is your car (i'm guessing as it says T28) making 15psi at 4000prm so that obviously isnt a Stage 2 T3 and then another car (Jamie) making 0.5 psi at idle which is impossible??! lol
In any case if they are not running Stage 2 T3's (.36/55), Newmans cams, with NMS heads, then they cannot be compared to my car as the volume of air they flow at any given boost pressure will be totally different (VE).

It isnt a lot of boost for the power, it's exactly as expected and how I spec'd the build mate!

anyway im involved now
its not idle mate, its 1krpm,mine idled around 900rpm and accordding to the graph of mine 1krpm its making exactly what davie says.as ive said many a time,my car was very lively from low down the revs so its not impossible as the cars pullin at 1krpm in 3rd gear.
also i may add that your graph and boost is exactly what id expect from a stg 2 t3,so cant see the argument here at all,and id expect a stg 3 t3 to make the power with less boost, thing is if i went efi then i could have prob held more boost at higher rpm but as usual mfi big spike then tail off
my view is youve done very well with the car,it makes great power and must be a hoot to drive on the road.even more so with the 3i box

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Great result Karlos!
Your result is very much what I would expect with a .36/55 T3.
You have reached the limit with the stage 2. The T3 series above 19 psi
boost starts generating alot of heat. (I am sure you already know this )
It would certainly be great to see what difference a .48/60 T3 would bring.
Much lower exhaust back pressure, possibly lower boost level to make 230 HP.
I don't think you would lose too much low rpm power - a definitive back to back test would be great information.
I will be finally assembling my 1.9 soon - using a CR turbos .48/60 T3 and Haltech E6X
engine management. I will certrainly want to pick your brain when it comes time for mapping. I have an Innovate Motorsports wideband O2 sensor to help mapping.
Spark timing table will probably be most difficult to get right.
Keep up the great work - and many thanks for sharing the build details!
Some keep so many secrets to themselves.
Cheers
