I read the feature on your car this morning. Didn't even realise it was in there. Be interesting to see what times it puts in Sunday. I'll be nosing no doubt.

some info for you guys -
Casings -
Large bearing special case - Bigger than (Ib5 Spec) but with extra webbing to cope with stress of power

Diff - Quaife ATB

Gears - Custom designed and built, fully semi helical to reduce noise but heat treated to Motorsport spec.

Shafts - Larger (longer) shafts to give appropriate support for the power and bearings going through the unit.

Heavy duty bronze selector forks so than no they will no be the weak link in any gear change.

The transmission has been dyno tested to 320bhp successfully in secret at a worldwide motorsport team plant.

As well as being tested on the road the prototypes have had 100% success running -

2.1zvh, vauxhall C20LET pistons, CVH head - running approx 280bhp

You DON'T have to cut the wing for an ST170 box - they are actually SMALLER than BC boxes.

When you say dyno testing what do you mean? Has the box been run on the road and had a good ammount of heavy launches sent its way?? Again, is straight cut still an option? Looking good so far though, are these available or does more work still need to be done?

in testing launches and power shifting was done. Straight cut is available as an option.
They are being produced in limited quantities due to cost of manufacturing all the gears, shafts case etc etc.
