Zvh keeps blowing seals in head
Anyone ver experienced this as ive recently done a 1.8 zvh conversion which runs sweet but i keep getting leaks from the seals in the head.
First the dizzy seal started leaking so i replaced with a genuine seal but did not cure and now the cam seal leaked so i replaced today and the fucker is leaking as well.
its fine on tickover but as soon as you rev it hard it flicks out everywhere, oil pressure guage reads at about 77 with high revs which i presume aint too high but aint got a clue.
It to me seems like it must be something in the bottom end as has never leaked in the 11 years ive owned while running the cvh apart from the sump lol.
My mate built the bottom end for me and has built loads and reckons it just needs tuning but i know this is bullshit so just after some advice

If the bolt at the end of the cam is not tight sometime the oil exits the end of the cam shaft. Could be mistaken for the cam seal.
As for the dizzy seal it could be the fibre seals inside the dizzy leaking and the oil is dripping out from inside the dizzy and not the o ring.

weird this is the dizzy has always been leaking since we did the conversion but the cam seal was fine till we spaced the vernier out a bit as the belt was too close to the edge and first time started after spacing the oil splattering started lol, could it be anything to do with the spacing, as ive just checked and the cam seal looks dry????

yes its probly down to the bolt and spacer you have fitted. There should be a bearing at the end of the cam that is stuck. If you sorted this it shouldnt leak. Or try and stop the oil coming out the thread some how. But its not ideal using PTF tape or locking glue etc.

Right been pissing about with this all day, tried sealing the bolt went out give it some stick oil everywhere, so decided to take the spacer off and tried that and had a very slight splattering which could have been oil left over, so its something to do with the spacing.
Going to try getting a bolt from my local fasteners a couple of mm longer the same width as the spacer as the only thing different with the spacing is how far the bolt goes in the cam and nothing else makes sense to me.
Failing that im breaking the cunt as ive never had so much grief over a poxy oil leak and the missus is about to divorce me due to i keep coming in well pissed off lol
