Sorry for dragging an old thread up, but it is a really good old thread.

I have a 1.6 Fiesta SI, just wondering and basically wanting to confirm what's in my head, that this should be pretty much exactly the same for my Fiesta?

I have a Mondeo master cylinder mod with a factory closed off clutch feed on the reservoir, so this should provide additional fluid correct?

And was that bracket for the slave cylinder made out of the support bracket between a steering rack and servo mount?

Yes mate I think that was the support bracket I used and if your reservoir has a clutch feed then yeah should be fine I would think.

I am starting this conversion today. I have removed my clutch pedal (finally!) but it's totally different shape to your one. Mines got a bracket with a captive nut welded inside it. I think il have to get a pedal the same as yours as this will be in the way of the rod

I used the biggest one I had and then a die grinder to open it out the rest of the way.

I'd like to add to this further. As this already involves making a bigger hole in the bulkhead I looked into possible options on the pedal end of things. Mondeo MK1 pedal boxes use exactly the same pedal shaft and the master cylinder goes through a hole in roughly the same place as the cable hole in the fiesta, so should be pretty much the same in the escort too.

All I have to do is create the proper hole and then because I have 'zetec yo' I can use a gearbox off a mondeo directly fitted for the actual bona fide hydraulic clutch.

Thanks Karlos, managed to sort it. Arrived this morning from Rally Design. The part number if anyone's interested was G1312, size 5/16. Fits spot on with the mk4 pedal quadrant pin.

A good question, my first thought would be that your servo could be in the way of where you would want to mount the clutch master cylinder, anybody got a lhd under bonnet picture?

Can this be fitted with the engine in gearbox in situ or will I need to haul it out to do the master cylinder fitting?

What Girling one did you opt for Karlos, and is that still behaving itself...?
