Default aerial

basicly my aerial is shite, how can i improve the reception? do i need to replace the aerial? if so what do you recommend?

any one used these?

try checking the amplifier in the boot mate its situated near the wiper motor in the boot lid.

tried that mate, changed it for one that i know works and it was still crap

change the cable that goes from the amplifier to your radio? It's a bit of work but nice to keep it original

what if your fed up with 80/90s tech and want actually good reception???
Thats where I am and i have a 2000 focus that pics up much better reception than my rst.
Any solution that helps that?

I've used the aerials in the link, and still have one somewhere, they are not very good certainly nowhere near as good as me sapphy or mk4 escort window heater ones.

I have same problem, coaxial is broken.
Original coaxial cable is discontinued and very very difficult to get.

It's just a piece of coaxial cable you can get it from any online electrical retailer!

Nope.

Connectors are problem. That antenna amplifier coaxial connector is ford own style and cannot buy new.
