turbo problem after oil change

Default turbo problem after oil change

as above i changed the oil today in the s2 before oil change turbo was on full boost at 3000rpm roughly, now it is full boost at 4000rpm, whats gone wrong only done a oil change.

ideas please

Wierd one! Oil starvation to the turbo maybe? I'd be careful boosting until you find the cause mate.
Pull the oil return to the sump off for a few seconds with the engine running and check oil is coming through from the turbo!

Did you use the same grade oil? if its much thicker it might restrict the engine.

ill crank it over and get some oil pressure to the turbo, but weird how it was fine this mornin then i did oil change now it gone weird

and the levels are all good? i mean theres not too much in?

Really, really odd problem. i cant think of anything at all that would have any affect on it

i'd be pulling turbo off and running oil back through it, sounds like something has found its way through.
