Yep sure you will be fine mate! As long as you carry a tap and die and a helicoil kit for your rocker studs and a few lifters in your glove box you will be proper! LOL! |

Hi chaps, just got me a new laptop so i'm back on the net again!!
Yep, the engine went into a rather nice looking white series two. He is a user on here but not a massive poster, davidrsturbo. Originally i converted it from the mfi to cossie management but then a couple of years past and, at the time i was breaking Cliff's series one, he was on the lookout for a new engine, so a deal was struck and he bought the engine, loom, ecu and turbo etc. So once the series one was stripped and gone, the series two came back and we fitted the engine and bits. Should be coming back in october for a Bara box that he's purchased and a series one roll bar assembly. I keep on at the guy to do a resto thread on here which he has started uploading pics but is very busy at the mo with work and a house move so keep your eyes peeled, i have a big ammount of pics of the build / car but won't be posting them as it's not my place!! Cheers chaps, Gary. |
